(Fort Worth, TX) - The Rochester Christian Women's Volleyball team rounded out their trip down south with the final doubleheader at the Texas Two-Step Tournament. The Warriors started the day by taking on #RV Lindsey Wilson before facing Huston-Tillotson to end the tournament.

GAME 1: RCU 1, #RV LWU 3

Facing off against their second #RV team of the season, RCU and Lindsey Wilson split the first two sets before LWU won the final two.

Alivia Everitt earned the first point of the match with a kill. The two teams kept trading points throughout the set as Kourtney Mack tied the set at 10 with a kill. RCU was able to battle out to a 22-20 lead, but a couple of LWU kills and errors gave the Blue Raiders the final five points.

Another similar set saw the Warriors get out to a 10-8 lead after Ashley Horne earned a service ace. The teams tied it up once again for the ninth time at 18. Kourtney Mack gave the Warriors the 19-18 on a kill and sparked RCU to score seven of the final nine points to even the match at one set apiece.

After a tight start to the set, Lindsey Wilson took the lead and fought off multiple Warrior runs as they had a six-point lead midway through the set. RCU did rally back to an 18-17 deficit after Hannah Roddis served an ace, but LWU scored seven of the final nine points.

The fourth and final set saw LWU end the match with a 25-20 win. Rochester Christian gained a 13-10 lead in the set on multiple kills before the Blue Raiders were able to rally and take control of the set. Following a Hailee Mancogna kill, LWU scored eight of the next nine points to take a 22-17 lead. The two teams traded the final five points as LWU took the match win.

GAME 2: RCU 3, HTU 0

RCU dominated the second match of the day with a pair of 25-8 set wins followed by a 25-18 win in set 3. The Warriors jumped out to an early 10-1 lead with kills coming from Alivia Everitt, Mackenzie Keefer, and Hailee Mancogna. Allison Scott would go on a serving run with six straight points, including a service ace. After a 17-3 lead, HTU scored five more points in the set, but RCU's offense was too much to overcome.

Set #2 saw the same final score, and the Warriors were able to get out to a big lead to start the set. Madelyn Geisenhaver started the scoring for the Warriors with a couple of kills, while Allison Scott added another service ace. Hannah Maynard earned a service ace as well in a mini serve run with four straight points, which had kills from Chante Hudgins and Kendal Zeiter. An HTU error rounded out the set with RCU taking a 2-0 lead.

Alyssa Swanson scored the first point in the set for RCU off an assist from Mackenzie Keefer. Huston-Tillotson took their first lead of the match with an 8-5 lead, but kills from Chante Hudgins and Kourtney Mack gave the Warriors the lead for the rest of the match.
