ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - It was a dominant showing for the Warriors during their first-ever home meet on Thursday night in Garth Pleasant Arena, with all four competing Warriors winning their matches against the Alma Scots.
The Warriors' Alexandria Sparks, Najeh Russo, Natalie Kutzli, and Michael Hamp (unattached) all showcased their talent in front of a rowdy Garth Pleasant Arena crowd, not allowing a single match to go to decision. The score of 29-15 would be slightly deceiving - Rochester voided in multiple weight classes.
POST-GAME PRESSER
Head Coach Wesley Maskill had this to say on the historic day for the program:
"I couldn't have asked for a better showing for our lady Warriors in our own gym. Not allowing a single point in the matches we competed in is very impressive. Now that we have been able to compete as a team and show what we are capable of doing. Hopefully, more and more future lady Warriors see the potential we have here at Rochester."
UP NEXT
Rochester will compete in the North Central College Open on Dec. 10.
