WARRIORS WRAP UP SEASON AT MSC CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Warriors finished up their season at the Mid-South Conference Championship, with two Warriors - Natalie Kutzli and Najeh Russo - securing placements during the tournament. This marks the first time in the program's history that the Warriors had two wrestlers place in a conference tournament.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Warriors finished up their season at the Mid-South Conference Championship, with two Warriors - Natalie Kutzli and Najeh Russo - securing placements during the tournament. This marks the first time in the program's history that the Warriors had two wrestlers place in a conference tournament. Kutzli earned a fifth-place finish in the 143 weight class, while Russo earned sixth in the 155 weight class.
The Warriors placed ninth as a team, ahead of Montreat and behind St. Andrews. Kutzli won in the consolation bracket before winning the fifth-place matchup due to injury. Russo advanced twice in the consolation bracket by technical fall before taking a second loss.
