Following a tight first quarter, the Cougars pulled ahead in the second and third periods, making an RCU comeback difficult in the fourth quarter.

The Warriors found a major groove on offense in a 91-84 victory over the #RV Northwestern Ohio Racers on Jan. 4, securing a critical road win. Offensively, the Warriors put up one of their best performances of the season, shooting 54.1% from the field as a unit while scoring 60 points in the paint. Forwards Jacey Somers and Ashley Loon combined for 49 RCU points, leading the Warriors. For UNOH, five players scored in double-figures.

The Warriors secured a big overtime victory over the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon, winning 82-76 to fight off a comeback effort by the Blue Devils. The Warriors started the game out hot, leading by as much as 21 points before LTU caught fire in the fourth quarter. Following a decent first quarter, the Warriors struggled in the second period as the Red Storm outscored RCU 29-9. Despite a much stronger second half, it wouldn't be enough for RCU.
