WARRIORS FALL IN MATCHUPS AGAINST MICHIGAN-DEARBORN

The Warriors fell in their final two games of the 2024-25 regular season against the Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines on Friday and Saturday. Both games saw the Wolverines start hot against the Warriors, who couldn't figure things out offensively and counter the Michigan-Dearborn attack.

FIRST GAME - UMD AT RCU - 10-1

 

The Wolverines started things out with a quick goal before adding a second one three minutes later. After a stagnant 14 minutes, the Warriors struck back with a goal by Kyle Hauer off an assist from Caden Pachota and Jake Mullins to wrap up the first period. From there, it was all Michigan-Dearborn, who scored four goals each in the second and third periods to put this one out of reach. 

SECOND GAME - RCU AT UMD - 2-9

Things didn't fare much better for RCU in the second outing, as the Wolverines went up 4-0 in the first period. Hauer scored his second goal of the weekend two minutes into the second period, passed to by Shaun Zatelli. After two more goals from Michigan-Dearborn, Hauer scored again, with Zatelli and Mullins helping facilitate the goal. The Wolverines added two more goals in the third period to make the final score 9-2.

The Warriors will face Michigan-Dearborn on Feb. 21 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Indiana Tech.
