THREE KEY THINGS
KEEPING THINGS CLOSE
Unable to crack the win column in their first matchups with each conference opponent this season, the Warriors kept things relatively close with the Saints in their first encounter. Each game in the home-and-home series was decided with a 5-2 score in favor of the Saints.
MITCHELL CONTINUES STRONG PLAY AT GOAL
Despite a tough time with shot differential, the Warriors' freshman goalie Blake MitchelL has had several games with a high amount of saves. He has seen over 50 pucks slung his direction, averaging almost 47 shots against, but will look to continue to anchor the Warrior defense.
MIDDLE OF THE PACK
The Saints enter the second half of the season sitting in the middle of the conference, and seek a big second-half stretch to break into the top half of the conference. The Warriors and Saints found themselves in two relatively close contests to start the season.
SPORTS INFORMATION SPOTLIGHT
