Women's Cross Country competes at the Lansing CC Invitational; Montagano places 6th

(Lansing, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's cross country team competed at their second event of the 2025 season as they traveled to Lansing, Michigan, to compete at the Lansing Community College Invitational. The event saw 68 runners take part in the 5 KM race.

6th - Mackenzie Montagano - 20:34.2

47th - Aurora Jacobs - 24:28.9

REST OF FIELD PERFORMANCES

Isabelle Eppert from Ferris State took the top spot at the race, running a time of 19:43.0, beating out a runner from Alma by 1.8 seconds. 

Alma was the top women's team at the event, scoring 36 points, after placing three runners in the top eight, with their lowest scorer placing 12th.

The team will travel to Siena Heights next Friday, September 26, for the Siena Heights Invitational in Adrian, Michigan.
