Women's XC competes at WHAC Championships
Fort Wayne, IN. - On Saturday, November 6th, the women's cross country team competed in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship race and came away with a 9th place team finish out of 11 schools.
The team finish is two places higher than last year's and was within striking distance of the next closest team. "This women's program has been led by some great veteran leadership with Allyson Slone (SR/Macomb, MI) and Katrina Kline (SO/Almont, MI)," said head coach Sean Foulkes. "That being said, our group of extremely talented freshmen (Erin Norton (FR), Aleah Dymond (FR), and Heather Eller (FR)) all did remarkably well and will make for a great core group moving forward."
As the cross country season comes to an end, the Warriors are getting ready to switch gears as they have their first indoor track meet coming up on December 4th at Saginaw Valley State University.
