Women's Wreslting competes at the Blue Raider Open

(Columbia, KY) - The Rochester Christian women's wrestling team headed down to the Blue Raider Open at Lyndsey Wilson University. 

The team had an overall record of 9-12 at the event. The wins would come from six falls, two tech falls, and a forfeit. 

Three different Warriors led the way with a 2-2 record, with Megan Melnyk, Tracey Kessler, and Ember Marriott hitting two wins.Melnyk and Marriott earned both of their wins with falls, while Kessler earned a tech fall. 

Aleah Swilley, Jazmyne Lake, and Elizabeth Gonzales all had a win as well. Swilley and Gonzales earned fall wins, while Lake earned a tech fall win.

The Warriors will now prepare for the Mid-South Conference Championships on Friday, February 20th, down in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
