Women's Wrestling earns tight 24-20 win over Saints

(Adrian, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's wrestling team headed down to Adrian, Michigan, to square off against the Saints from Siena Heights. The Warriors would earn five victories on the evening, including a pair of falls, en route to the 24-20 win. 

Julia Snyder took down the Saints wrestler with a tech fall win after outscoring the Saint, 10-0. 

Megan Melnyk and Jazmyne Lake earned back-to-back fall victories to bring the Warriors back into the match, with the falls happening in 25 and 31 seconds, respectively. 

Gabriela Hotaj and London Crossley each earned forfeit wins on the evening to wrap up the Warrior scoring. 

Tracey Kessler would also earn a fall win in an extra match.
