Volleyball's Mackenzie Keefer earns WHAC Setter of the Week

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for November 3-9, and Rochester Christian's women's volleyball player Mackenzie Keefer earned honors this week as the Setter of the Week.

Keefer, a senior from Freeland, Michigan, tallied 78 assists in the two Warrior games this week, averaging 13 assists per set. Keefer closed out the regular season on Saturday with 44 assists in the 3-0 win over Northwestern Ohio, in which she recorded the most assists in a three-set match since 2013. Keefer also added four digs per set as well, digging out 24 attacks.

Keefer joins Ashley Horne and Kendal Zeiter as the Warriors to win Player of the Week honors this season. 

The Warriors are back on the court on Wednesday, November 12, when they host the Madonna Crusaders in the WHAC Quarterfinals at 7 PM.
