Track and Field Travels to Siena Heights For Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational
Adrian, MI - Last Friday, the Track and Field Warriors Traveled to Siena Heights For Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational. The Men's team placed 16th out of 21 teams, and the Women’s placed 19th out of 22. Despite the extremely hot weather, the Warriors persevered and achieved new personal bests and school records.

Many Warriors witnessed spectacular performances at the invitational. Distance runner Bryce Langmaid noticed Charlie Aldrich's 800m performance, noting, "He really stuck to his guns and performed really well." Charlie ran a 1:58.38 for a personal best time in the 800m.
"I felt pretty good even though I was tired coming off the 1500m," Charlie Aldrich Said. "I was really excited to follow Alec Shaw, and it helped me to achieve a personal best."
The Warriors will be shipped back to Rochester Hils, MI, to compete in the Elaine Leigh Invitational hosted by Oakland University. The Invitational will be broadcasted by ESPN+ this Friday and Saturday, April 21-22. This Friday, collegiate field events begin at 2:00 PM, and collegiate running events begin at 7:45 PM. Saturday, field and running events begin at 12:00 PM.
