Women's Track & Field open outdoor season at OU Golden Grizzlies Invite

(Rochester, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's track & field team began its 2026 outdoor season at the OU Golden Grizzlies Invite. 

 

FIELD RESULTS

Mckenzie Reese would compete in both the shot put and discus events at the opening meet. Reese placed 17th in the shot put with a toss of 9.10 meters on her second throw. Reese followed that up by placing 20th in the discus with a 23.63-meter toss on her final throw. 

 

TRACK RESULTS

Aurora Jacobs competed in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:37.16, placing 17th. 

 

Mackenzie Montagano ran in the 5K race, earning 19th place and a time of 20:45.97. 

 

Amanda Usrey finished out the track events with an 18th-place finish in the 400-meter dash and a time of 1:05.22. Usrey would also run the 200-meter dash, placing 28th with a time of 28.70. 

 

UP NEXT

The Warriors will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14th when they head to the Bill Bippes Cougar Classic at Spring Arbor University.
