Trio of Warriors honored with WHAC Postseason Awards
(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released its seasonal honors for the 2025 women's soccer season on Wednesday morning. A trio of Warriors were honored, being named to the All-Conference teams.
FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
OLIVIA HOWES | SENIOR | LEONARD, MICHIGAN
Olivia Howes led RCU and was second in the WHAC this season in scoring, netting 11 goals this season, with six of them coming in conference play. Howes would also be top of the team in scoring game-winning goals with three on the year. She would also become the program's leading scorer this season.
ALL-NEWCOMER TEAM
VICTORIA KEBBE | JR | NEW BALTIMORE, MICHIGAN
Victoria Kebbe, a key piece on the RCU backline, played and started each of the Warriors' 19 games this season. She aided a Warriors' defense that allowed the sixth-fewest goals (25) and goals against average (1.32) this season. Kebbe added a goal and an assist to her stat line as well.
CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER TEAM
SAMANTHA JOHNS | SR | STERLING HEIGHTS, MICHIGAN
Samantha Johns was recognized as the team's WHAC Champion of Character. The senior was honored for her commitment to the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
WHAC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
The WHAC announced its All-Academic teams, which include sophomores and above in Academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.25. The 12 Warriors honored were Mackenzie Fournier, Kennedy Fraser, Mya Freeland, Sydney Hawks, Shelby Holyfield, Olivia Howes, Samantha Johns, Sabrina Kiryakoza, Rachel McCleese, Jenna Schodowski, Laila Vanhoorelbeke, and Jillian Wilkinson.
