NAVY PHELPS FINISHES FINAL GAME FOR WARRIORS

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Warriors celebrated the final game of senior Navy Phelps at Cardinal Stadium on April 13, where the Warriors faced the Concordia Cardinals for their final game of the season.

The Warriors found themselves down early in the contest, conceding seven goals in the first quarter. Following a 10-0 deficit in the first half, the sister of the senior, Gracie Phelps, scored the Warriors' lone goal on an unassisted run to the net. The Cardinals continued to expand the lead, and the Warriors weren't able to get many more chances at goal. One attempt that did find the back of the net but was called back was by midfielder Jessica Cadman, who put the ball behind her head in Magic Johnson-esque fashion. However, the goal was called back due to being unsafe. 

UP NEXT

Phelps will continue to pursue her degree in the Fine Arts at RCU, graduating in fall of 2024. Phelps intends on using her degree to be a professional designer and performer.
