PONTIAC, Mich. - The home debut for the Warriors (0-2, 0-1) didn't go as planned, as the team fell to the Bethel Pilots (6-4, 3-0) 13-1 at UWM Sports Complex on March 22. After a difficult first half, the Warriors found the back of the net behind a coast-to-coast goal from attacker Liliana Tasich in the fourth quarter.
The Pilots found most of their success in the first quarter, scoring seven unanswered while preventing the Warriors from forming a consistent attack. The scoring continued for Bethel in the second quarter, who put up a double-digit lead midway through the second quarter. Things improved defensively for the Warriors in the second half, with the team pressing forward on attacking plays before Tasich's goal.
