Cumper Named RC Women's Lacrosse Head Coach
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.— Athletic Director Klint Pleasant is pleased to announce that Allison Cumper will be the first-ever women's lacrosse coach at Rochester College.
Cumper graduated from Clarkston High School in 2007 During her time as a student, Cumper was on the competitive dance team and track team. After graduation, Cumper went to Oakland University where she played four years on the club women's lacrosse team and earned her undergrad in English and Communications. During her time on the club lacrosse team, Cumper won three conference champions and appeared at the national tournament twice.
Cumper is currently attending the University of Detroit and is working on earning a masters in school counseling.
After finishing her playing career at Oakland University, Cumper started her coaching career as a volunteer coach at Oxford High School. Then she took on the job as the head middle school coach at Detroit Country Day. After some time at DCD, Cumper became the JV head coach and varsity assistant coach at Marian High School. During her time there she helped lead the team to a Catholic League Championship in 2012 and 2013. After much success at Marian, Cumper took her coaching skills to Academy of the Sacred Heart where she became the head coach. Her most recent coaching was done at University of Detroit Jesuit HS, where she was the boy's assistant coach.
Coach Cumper currently lives in Birmingham, MI.
