Women's Golf opens spring season at Cleary Invitational

(Brighton, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's golf team was back in action to begin their spring season on Monday at the Cleary Spring Invitational. The Warriors were one of nine teams in attendance at the event. 

The other eight teams were: Mott Community College, Spring Arbor, Lourdes, Cleary, Michigan-Dearborn, Cornerstone, Siena Heights, and Aquinas. 

RCU SCORES

Anna Ferguson was the top golfer on the team with a score of 120, with Mackenzie Murdock scoring a 121 and Brooke Cicero closing out the scoring with a 134. 

REST OF FIELD PERFORMANCES

Aquinas was the top individual team, as they posted a team score of 359, besting second-place Lourdes by four strokes. 

Lilly Stolz from Cleary took the top individual spot for the tournament with a score of 79.

The Warriors will be back on the course on Thursday, April 9, when they head to the Lourdes Spring Invitational.
