Women's Golf competes at the Lourdes Fall Invitational

(Ottawa Lake, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's golf team competed in its second match of the season at the Lourdes Fall Invitational last week at the Legacy Golf Club. The team placed 13th with a total score of 456.

Kayce Maitland led the charge for the Warriors with a score of 109 as the top golfer. The next two golfers were Anna Ferguson and Jessica Cadman, with scores of 111 and 114, respectively, while McKenzie Murdock rounded out the scoring with a 122. 

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Albion took home the team title with a total score of 33 for the one-round event. 

Defiance's Lauren Fleming and Madonna's Kaylee McKenney tied for first place at the event with a score of 72. Fleming would eventually win the top spot, following a playoff hole.

The Warriors will travel to the Chemung Hills Golf Club to take part in the Cleary Invitational in Howell, Michigan, on Friday, September 19.
