Women's Golf opens fall schedule at the Trine Kick-Off Classic

(Angola, IN) - The Women's Golf season kicked off on Tuesday as the Rochester Christian Warriors competed at the Trine Kick-Off Classic at the Zollner Golf Course in Indiana. The Kick-Off Classic was a one-round event. 

 

The Warriors placed 12th at the first event of the fall, which included fellow Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) school Siena Heights. 

 

RCU SCORES

Kaycee Maitland and Anna Ferguson shared the top spot for the Warriors, each shooting a score of 104. Brooke Cicero and Mackenzie Murdock both finished their single rounds with a 123, while Jessica Cadman rounded out the Warriors team with a 129. 

 

TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Trine took home the top spot of their own tournament with a score of 325, which was one stroke better than the two teams in second place.

 

Rylee Smith from that Trine winning team would also claim the top individual spot, winning by four strokes, with a 74. 


UP NEXT

The Warriors will next hit the links on September 10th when they travel to Ottawa Lake, Michigan, to compete in the Lourdes Fall Preview at the Legacy Golf Club.
