Women's Golf Completes Impressive Weekend

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.-- The Warriors headed to Cleary University on Friday for the Cleary University Invitational and then traveled to Defiance, Ohio for the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational on Sunday.

After finishing second a week earlier at the Scottie Invitational in Alma, Mich. the Warriors came out eager to avenge the previous week's close call. That mindset led the Warriors to a first place finish with a score of 353. The Warriors were paced by senior Audrie Bedenis (Davisburg, Mich./Clarkston H.S.) and freshman Samantha Tarakoff (Chesterfield, Mich./Armada H.S.) who each shot an 86. The Warriors finished 17 points ahead of the host team, Cleary University.

Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational

The Warriors headed south on I-75 to Ohio and fell just short to Cleary University on Sunday. The Warriors finished in second place with a score of 376. Samantha Tarakoff (Chesterfield, Mich./Armada H.S.) led the team with a score of 87. Freshman Lindsay Baslock (Holly, Mich./Holly H.S.) had a strong showing with a score of 93.
