Women's Bowling places third at Detroit Open
(Sterling Heights, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's bowling team rounded out the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season at the fourth and final WHAC tournament at the 5-Star Lanes. The event featured team bowling in three team games, before taking part in 16 baker games.
The Warriors placed sixth for the event after scoring 5,634 pins after scoring 2,844 pins in the team games and 2,790 pins in the baker games.
RCU SCORES
Riley Brownrigg was the top individual bowler for the Warriors with a total score of 615 and a high game of 252, while placing 8th for the team games. Next up in 16th-place was Molly Crouch with a 590 pinfall and a 207 high game. Kenzi Nieman rounded out in 24th after scoring a 565 pin fall and a 246 high game. Sara Ritchie was the final Warrior to bowl in all three games and scored a 536 series with a 190 high game.
Nataleigh Eagle and Sage Malott rounded out the scoring for RCU. Eagle finished with 356 pins over two games, including a 200 high game. Malott closed out with a 182 in her sole game.

The Warriors team series score of 948.00 is the third highest mark in program history.
Riley Brownrigg enters the record book with her score of 615 as the seventh highest mark for a 3-game series.
REST OF FIELD PERFORMANCES
Indiana Tech earned the top team spot at the tournament and won the WHAC regular season title. They earned the top spot after knocking down 5,975 pins, which was over 200 pins better than second-place.
Mackenzie Calahan from Grand Valley was the top individual for the event after posting a score of 713 pins.

The Warriors will head back to the lanes on February 14th when they head to the C300 Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana.
