Women's Bowling earns third-place finish at WHAC Event #3
(Sterling Heights, MI) - The Rochester Christian women's bowling team headed down the road to the 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Michigan, for the third WHAC event of the season. The event featured 11 total teams bowling in 15 team games, followed by four baker set games.
The team finished the event in third place with a total score of 5,557 pins. They recorded 2,682 pins in the team games, while scoring 2,875 pins in the baker sets.
The team series average of 894.00 is the third-highest mark in program history.
RCU SCORES
Placing fifth and leading off the scoring for RCU was Riley Brownrigg. Brownrigg totaled 574 pins throughout her three games and scored a high game of 191. Next up was Molly Crouch with a total score of 551, while recording a high game of 216, placing 13th. In 19th place was Sara Ritchie, who earned 540 pins and a 194 high game.
Sage Malott and Kenzie Nieman were the final two bowlers for RCU as they posted scores of 516 and 501, respectively. Malott recorded a 184 high game, while Nieman scored a 197.

In the JV portion of the tournament, the Warriors took the runner-up spot with a total pinfall of 5,187. 2,472 pins would be knocked down in the team games, while 2,715 pins would be scored from the baker games.
