Sara Ritchie named the WHAC Women's Bowler of the Week

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for October 6-12. Rochester Christian's Sara Ritchie earned the honor this week after helping the team to a second-place finish at the C300 Western Shootout. 

Ritchie, a junior from Flint, Michigan, highlighted the Warriors at the event this past weekend, placing second individually at the tournament. Ritchie totaled a score of 1,329 for the tournament, while averaging 221.5 pins per game. Her score of 1,329 is the second-highest mark in program history for a 6-game series. 

Rithcie and the Warriors will be back in action when they head to the SuperBowl in Canton, Michigan, for the first and second American Heartland tournaments on October 25 and 26.
