WHAC WOMEN'S BOWLING AWARDS RELEASED; WARRIORS EARN FIVE ALL-ACADEMIC NODS

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has announced the 2024-25 season women's bowling awards, with five Warriors named to the WHAC All-Academic Team. For the Warriors, Riley Brownrigg was named the team's Champions of Character representative for this season.

The Warriors placed fifth of 11 teams in the third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree of the season, bowling 5813 pins as a team. Sophomore Sara Ritchie led the Warriors with her fifth-place finish in the event, bowling 664 pins in three games.

Both RCU varsity and junior varsity women's bowling have taken home wins in the 2024 Warrior Classic following top performances by Hannah Tracznyski and Riley Brownrigg. For RCU, this is the second consecutive year that the women's program has taken home a win in the Warrior Classic.

WARRIORS FINISH FOURTH IN BGSU FALCON CLASSIC

The Warriors placed fourth of 13 teams in the BGSU Falcon Classic on Nov. 16, wrapping up a very strong day with a team score of 5094 pins. Leading for the Warriors was Sara Ritchie with a ninth-place finish, bowling 742 pins. For Warrior JV, Hannah Traczynski led the team with 661 pins in four games, good for eighth place. 

WARRIORS PUT UP EFFICIENT PERFORMANCES AT AHBA #1 AND #2
WARRIORS PUT UP EFFICIENT PERFORMANCES AT AHBA #1 AND #2

RCU got through their first two American Heartland Bowling Association events of the season with sixth and fourth-place finishes in AHBA #1 and #2, respectively. Sara Ritchie led the Warriors in both events, earning a 13th and eighth-place finish in the respective events.

WOMEN'S BOWLING PLACES THIRD IN C-300 WESTERN SHOOTOUT; RITCHIE PLACES FIRST

The Warriors placed third of 23 participating teams in the Columbia 300 Western Shootout on Oct. 12, bowling 5905 pins total and 3100 in Baker Games. The Warriors saw sophomore Sara Ritchie earn a first-place finish in the event, leading 183 bowlers with 1336 pins bowled in six games.

WOMEN'S BOWLING FINISHES 22ND IN MIDWEST COLLEGIATE CLASSIC

The Warriors placed 22nd of 42 participating teams in the Midwest Collegiate Championships on Saturday afternoon, bowling 7199 pins. Riley Brownrigg led the way for the Warriors, bowling 926 pins in five games with a single-game high of 192.
