WOMEN’S BOWLING EARNS FIRST TOURNEY WIN IN PROGRAM HISTORY AT WARRIOR CLASSIC
In its debut event of the season, Warrior Women’s Bowling secured its first tournament win in the history of the program at the Rochester-hosted Warrior Classic at Richfield Bowl on Saturday afternoon. The team placed first amongst 12 teams, including several WHAC opponents.
FLINT, MI - In its debut event of the season, Warrior Women's Bowling secured its first tournament win in the history of the program at the Rochester-hosted Warrior Classic at Richfield Bowl on Saturday afternoon. The team placed first amongst 12 teams, including several WHAC opponents.
Four Warriors placed in the top ten during the event, with Riley Brownrigg earning the highest placement for the Warriors at third. Brownrigg scored a 775* in the event, with Nataleigh Eagle placing right behind her at 760*.
The other two Warriors in the top ten were Sara Ritchie and Vanessa Zissler, scoring 725 and 720, respectively. Rochester scored a 6231 overall in the event.
"The girls worked hard all tryouts," Head Coach Craig Woodham said. "They worked even harder to stay in first place as a team on the day. I'm very proud of all of them."

The team will travel to Wauwatosa, Wisc., for the Midwest Collegiate Championships on Oct. 7.
