Zeiter and Loon earn WHAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly players of the week for December 22-28, and a pair of women's basketball players swept the weekly honors. 

Kendal Zeiter, a senior from Troy, Michigan, earns her second straight Player of the Week honor, this time on the offensive end. Zeiter led the team with 14 points in the matchup against #7 Saint Francis (IN), shooting over 50% from the field. In addition, Zeiter had six rebounds and two assists in the game as well. 

Ashley Loon, a senior from Oak Park, Michigan, earns her first Player of the Week honor of her career following the game against #7 Saint Francis (IN). Loon led the defensive end of the ball with two steals in the match. Loon added six points and four rebounds as well. 

The Warriors return to WHAC play on Saturday, January 3, when they head to Lansing, Michigan for a matchup against Cleary at 1 PM.
