Zeiter wins WHAC Defensive Player of the Week

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for December 15-21 for women's basketball, and Rochester Christian's Kendal Zeiter earned honors in the Warriors' 1-1 week at the Daytona Beach Classic.

Zeiter, a senior from Troy, Michigan, recorded her fourth straight double-double, averaging 19.5 points and 13 rebounds over the two games at the Daytona Beach Classic. Zeiter would also total 8 blocks in the two games to go along with 7 steals.

Zeiter earns her first honor for women's basketball, as she earned an Attacker of the Week for women's volleyball earlier this fall. 

The team will be back in action on Saturday, December 27, when they head to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to face off against #7 Saint Francis (IN).
