Despite shooting well from the three-point line, the Warriors' turnovers and paint-field goal percentage proved too costly to allow RCU to close the margin. Forward Ashley Loon led the Warriors with 11 points, while guard Genevieve Decker led Indiana Tech with 21.
THE RUNDOWN
FIRST HALF
The Warriors knocked down a series of threes to get the game started, with Loon hitting two on back-to-back possessions to bring the game at 9-14 Indiana Tech. The hosts went on a 6-0 run to finish the first quarter, but RCU recovered with a 5-0 run, featuring a Samone Andrews floater and another Loon three-pointer.
That offensive success was not there for RCU in the second quarter, with Indiana Tech's defense clamping down and holding the Warriors to three points, widening the margin considerably. The Warriors' first points came over six minutes after the quarter started on a layup by guard Karmyn Lowry.
SECOND HALF
Things didn't improve much for the Warriors in the next quarter, as the team scored six points in the period, starting with a layup by forward Jacey Somers on RCU's first possession. Indiana Tech's lead grew as the quarter went on, with RCU's next bucket coming by way of a three from Demi Rodriguez. The Warriors' scoring improved in the fourth quarter, with three palayers knocking down threes. However, it was too much of a margin for the Warriors to fight back from before the final buzzer.

The Warriors shot 36.4% from three, outshooting Indiana Tech at 26.9%.
