SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - The Warriors will look to get things back on track on Wednesday morning at Spring Arbor on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Wednesday's game will be RCU's second of four consecutive on the road, and will be a big one for the team as they try to find momentum heading into a challenging November slate.
THREE KEY THINGS
WARRIORS CONTINUE TO USE DEPTH
RCU has found a lot of sparks in its bench so far this season, with the Warriors' last game being an indicator. Despite an 83-63 loss to IU-Northwest, the Warriors got three solid bench performances from guards Shahd Bakkar, Karmyn Lowry, and Samone Andrews. Each player put up efficient numbers while playing solid defense to help try and will RCU back into the game.
COUGARS ON SCORCHING START
It has been a start a coach can only dream of for Spring Arbor, who have begun the season 5-0 including two wins over WHAC opponents. For the Cougars, watch out for forward Alana Nelson, who was won back-to-back Crossroads League Player of the Week awards after stellar performances during the stretch.
FINDING A RHYTHM
RCU's offense is slowly continuing to find its way after a few tough starts in their road games this season. The Warriors have found much of their offensive success either inside the key or outside the three-point line, with physical post-play and a relentless attack on the offensive glass.
