WARRIORS HOST CORNERSTONE FOR SENIOR DAY

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - The Warriors (14-13, 11-10) will celebrate a special senior during a Saturday afternoon matchup against Cornerstone (14-12, 12-9) at 1 p.m. Before the contest, the Warriors will conduct a senior day ceremony for guard Celeste Mershimer, the team's lone senior. Additionally, this matchup may serve as a preview of the first round of the 2023-24 WHAC Tournament, as Cornerstone sits in the fourth seed while Rochester is fifth. 

Head Coach Jared Ocampo has this message for Celeste:

"To Celeste, over the two and a half years we have spent together, I have seen you grow into a strong, empowering, and amazing woman ready to step foot into the real world. You are courageous and passionate, and you have the drive to positively impact whatever it is you do in life. I'm confident you will continue to surround yourself with the love and support that allows you to simply be you. Continue to lead with a high standard and to lead from your heart. Continue to trust in God to lead you with positive light and have faith in yourself to be the best that you can be. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of your journey. RU is a better place because of you. This program is better because of you. I am a better person because of you. Thank you for all that you have done and accomplished for this program.
