WARRIORS TRAVEL TO SOUTHFIELD TO TAKE ON LTU

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - It'll be a game with a lot on the line for both the Warriors (11-10, 8-7) and the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (10-11, 8-7) on Saturday, Feb. 3, when the two teams face off in Don Ridler Fieldhouse. With both teams tied in the conference standings, a win could lead to a home game in the 2024 WHAC Tournament. 

THREE KEY THINGS

WARRIORS ON HOT STREAK

Rochester comes into the matchup with three straight wins, all in games where the team scored 70 points or more. The Warriors will look to get their fourth consecutive win against a familiar opponent they defeated back on Dec. 2 - marking the longest win streak of the season if done.

BLUE DEVILS WIN BACK-TO-BACK THRILLERS

The Blue Devils are also riding momentum going into this game, having won two straight games by one possession. In the most recent win for the Blue Devils against Aquinas, forward Jade Faris knocked down clutch free throws with just three seconds remaining to seal the win. 

PUSH FOR THE POSTSEASON

Saturday's contest will have many WHAC Tournament implications on the line, with both teams currently tied in the conference standings. These two teams are familiar with high-stakes matchups, with the teams meeting in the first round of last year's WHAC Tournament. There is potential for that matchup to happen again, but the host could be decided by the second regular season matchup between the teams.

Rochester is 10-4 in matchups with LTU and has won eight straight games dating back to the 2020-21 season. 

AROUND THE CONFERENCE

#21 Indiana Tech has yet to concede a WHAC contest and earned a big win against #RV Siena Heights last week. Siena Heights is tied with Concordia for second at 13-2, while Cornerstone stands in possession of fourth. The Warriors and Blue Devils are tied for fifth in the WHAC.
