Lady Warriors Handle the Royals with Ease, 79-37

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.—The Lady Warriors jumped out to a big lead at the end of the first half, 46-8, on their way to their second win on the season. That lead turned into a dominant performance Saturday against the Redeemer University College Royals. The Warriors defeated the Royals for the second time in two days by a score of 79-37.

RC was led by freshmen guard, Maddy Valko (Marysville, Mich,/Marysville H.S.) as she led all scorers with 20 points and 3 assists. Junior Casey Bowdell (Allen Park, Mich./Allen Park H.S.) added 13 points for the Warriors. Keerra Brown (Chesterfield, Mich./ L'anse Creuse North H.S.) was a key factor in the Lady Warriors' victory as she grabbed 12 rebounds and scored 10 points. The Warriors shot 44% from the floor and pushed the lead to as much as 47 points in the second half.

The Warriors will be in action again this Wednesday, October 26th as they host Aquinas College. The game is set for tip-off at 7:00pm at Oakland Christian School.
