Coach Benschoter had this to say about Alaina's signing: "Alaina was our first commit for this class, and we were so fortunate to get her. What attracted us to Alaina was her 'no fear' mentality. She is the type of kid who will run through a fence for a ball and has the ball hawk mindset in the outfield. Alaina brings tremendous speed in the outfield that can cover all of the gaps, a consistent bat, and an arm that can gun runners down on the base paths from anywhere on the field. She is a great kid who comes from a great family, and we can't wait to see her in an RCU jersey."

Taylor is a crafty pitcher who has the ability to get hitters out in a multitude of ways. Offensively, Taylor has one of the most violent swings we have ever seen, and when she makes contact, the ball just flies off the bat. We have been fortunate enough to watch Taylor play a lot of softball, and every time she impresses us. Taylor is a quiet kid, but when she steps on the field, her presence is known. We are so excited to have her and her family be a part of the Warrior family.

Annabell is the definition of a 'gritty player' who can do anything you ask her to do. She is a very skilled slapper who can lay down a bunt or power slap through the infield, and once she gets on base, it's an automatic stolen base. Annabell can cover a ton of ground in the outfield and step in and play middle infield, if need be. Defensively, she is as lock-down as you can be at third base. We watched her play one game and knew she had to be a Warrior. Her best attribute is her knowledge of the game, and knowing we can ask her to do multiple things is a great bonus. Anytime she steps to the plate, she has a chance to change the game with one swing of the bat. Defensively, she has some of the best footwork and glove work we have seen from a first baseman. Kirsten is a true competitor who is her biggest critic, and we couldn't be more excited that she is a Warrior. Kirsten comes from a great family and is such a great kid to be around."

Coach Benschoter had this to say about the class as a whole: "This is a very special class coming in next year. When we were trying to figure out who and what to bring in, we knew we had to make sure we got kids with some college experience, speed, and pure hitters, and I feel we accomplished all of that with this class. We wanted kids who wanted to compete, were good people with good families, and who aligned with our university and program values. We wanted to make sure we complement what we have on our roster currently, and we feel that this class, combined with our current roster, is the team to really help put RCU Softball on the map. We want to compete at the highest level, compete for WHAC championships, and we feel this class is a big step in the right direction to make that happen. I want to thank Coach Zach, Coach Scott, and Coach Jeff for all their help in making this class possible, and we are so excited to welcome all of these ladies and their families to the RCU Softball family."
