FORTI AND MCLEAN HEADLINE WARRIORS FOR WHAC SOFTBALL AWARDS
The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference has released its awards for the 2024 softball season, with sophomore Jaya Forti and senior Jayde Dominey-McLean headlining the Warriors' honors.
LIVONIA, Mich. - The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference has released its awards for the 2024 softball season, with sophomore Jaya Forti and senior Jayde Dominey-McLean headlining the Warriors' honors. Forti was selected to the WHAC's All-Defensive Team, marking the first time in program history a Warrior has earned the honor. Dominey-McLean was selected as the team's Champions of Character representative, concluding her career as a captain for the Warriors.
Forti had a stellar year in the outfield for the Warriors, logging a fielding percentage of .971 while logging 60 putouts in 32 games played.
