Softball Swept By Aquinas In WHAC Opener

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Warriors were unable to get a win against the Aquinas Saints in their WHAC opener on Sunday afternoon, being shut out in both games.
In the first contest, Rochester kept things tight until the third inning, where Aquinas capitalized on errors to extend its lead. The Warriors recorded three hits, two of which were done by Sarah Hall who led the Warriors offensively.
The second game had a similar story, with Aquinas opening an early lead and continuing to build on it throughout the game. On a positive note for Rochester, the team nearly matched Aquinas' hitting total, but was just unable to get back to home plate. Five different Warriors logged hits.
Rochester will go back to the drawing board and prepare for a doubleheader against Indiana Tech this Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
