Men's XC competes at WHAC Championships
Fort Wayne, IN. - On Saturday, November 6th, the men's cross country team competed in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship race and came away with a 9th place team finish out of 11 schools.
The team finish comes as a strong starting point for a program that is finding its footing. "This men's program has done a great job this season of coming together and finding a common direction to head in," said head coach Sean Foulkes. "With returners such as Trent Fagan, Garrett Goulding, and Carter Owens helping to guide an extremely talented young crop of Warriors, this season is the start of what we believe will be big things to come for us."
Freshmen that contributed to the team standings on Saturday were Bryce Langmaid, Reece Welch, Jalen Crawford, Charles Aldrich, along with a transfer student from GRCC in Noah Peterson.
As the cross country season comes to an end, the Warriors are getting ready to switch gears as they have their first indoor track meet coming up on December 4th at Saginaw Valley State University.
