Cristian Rojas earns WHAC Wrestler of the Week award

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Wrestlers of the Week for November 10-16, and Rochester Christian's men's wrestler Cristian Rojas earned this week's honors for his efforts at the Albion Open on Sunday.

Rojas, a senior from Imlay City, Michigan, earned a second-place finish in the 133-lb weight class, earning a 3-1 record. Rojas won his first match by way of a Tech Fall in 2:06 and won his next two by Decision with a 10-4 and 9-8 win. 

Rojas and the wrestling team will be back in action on Saturday, November 22, when they head to the WHAC Super Duels at Defiance College.
