THREE KEY THINGS
WARRIORS FRESH OFF STRONG SEASON START
The Warriors got an exciting glimpse into the future during the Pepsi Patriot Open, with freshman Hunter Thomson securing first place in the 141-lb weight class. In their first action of the season, RCU defeated Midway University 35-9 in a dual at Midway. The Warriors will look to continue off that as they head into their first conference meet.
GOLDEN EAGLES BRING IN TOP 125'ER
The Golden Eagles may look to showcase top 125-pounder Trevor Marsman, who has been lighting it up both on the conference and national level since joining the Cornerstone squad. Marsman was last year's 125-lb conference champion and is currently ranked as the top 125-er in the nation.
HOME ENERGY
Last season, the Warriors defeated two teams receiving votes nationally at Garth Pleasant Arena. This year, the Warriors look to attend to business with three conference home meets.
