Men's Volleyball adds Pfeifer to coaching staff

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's volleyball program and Head Coach Pablo Sanchez would like to welcome Thomas Pfeifer onto the coaching staff ahead of the team's inaugural season. 

Coach Tom Pfeifer has over 25 years of Varsity High School coaching experience, as well as building successful travel and high school Programs. His experience, passion, and dedication to coaching athletes led to multiple division titles, 10 consecutive city championships, and several District finals. Coach Tom is also listed in the Michigan High School Athletic Association record books with over 500 wins in the Varsity High School world.

Coach Pfeifer had this to say about joining the staff: "I am excited and thankful for the opportunity that the Rochester Christian University community has given me to help Coach Paulo build and shape the future of the Men's volleyball program here. I hope to bring not only great volleyball-skilled training and knowledge, but also the ability for our athletes to thrive both on and off the court. Training athletes for me is about building character and showing them how work ethic, motivation, and teamwork translate to success on the court and off the court. I want to mentor our athletes and show them how the characteristics help shape each of their lives!"

Coach Pfeifer has reached milestones and success in the travel volleyball circuit. Coach Tom has served as a Master Coach and Macomb County Supervisor for previous Travel Clubs: Next Generation, Michigan Elite, and the Dynasty volleyball club, before joining Crank It in 2019, where he currently coaches. Coach Tom Pfeifer has coached age groups ranging from ages 10 all the way to age 18, including top recruits. He has placed multiple athletes in colleges throughout his tenures in High School Varsity and Travel Volleyball programs. Coach Tom Pfeifer now coaches elite-level travel teams, bringing his expertise to player development and high-level competition.

Pfeifer concluded by saying: "Winning and success begin each day with the work you put into the classroom, the team, and the program.
