Holt and Josef top two jumpers for Men's Track & Field at Marian Knight Open

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Rochester Christian men's track & field team began the outdoor season with the team's two high jumpers competing at the Marian Knight Open on Friday. 

Julian Holt took the top spot in the field of 15 high jumpers, as he was the only jumper to hit the 2.01-meter height. Holt began the day, hitting his first jump at 1.91 meters, before hitting 1.96 on the third jump, and his winning height of 2.01 meters on his second attempt. 

Hayden Josef trailed Holt, finishing in second place, hitting the 1.96-meter jump. Josef would hit on both of his first jumps of the day at the 1.91 and 1.96 meter heights, before failing to hit 2.01 meters, after three attempts.

The Warriors' full team will be back in action for the outdoor season when they hit the track at the OU Golden Grizzly Invitational on Saturday, April 4, at Oakland's Track & Field complex.
