Men's Track & Field continues season at the Jet's Pizza Invite
(Saginaw, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's track & field team competed this past weekend at the Jet's Pizza Invitational on the campus of Saginaw Valley State. The Warriors saw five different personal bests at the event this weekend.
FIELD PERFORMANCES
The field side of the event once again saw Hayden Josef and Julian Holt both place within the top-10 in the High Jump. Josef finished at the 1.99 meter mark, with Holt at the 1.89 meter mark.
Nathan Brewer competed in both the Shot Put and Weight Throw events. Brewer hit 10.83 meters in the shot put before throwing a personal best mark of 12.53 meters in the weight throw.
Michael Reed would also compete in the Shot Put and Weight Throw events. Reed threw for 11.94 meters in the shot put, while throwing 11.41 meters in the weight throw.
Thomas Spries threw in the shot put and hit 6.92 meters.
Jaylon Moore closed out the field events with a mark of 9.53 meters in the weight throw.
TRACK PERFORMANCES
Ethan Dinanath started the Warriors off in the 60-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the 400-meter, running times of 7.26, 23.54, and 51.88 seconds, respectively.
Ethan Eisenhauer would also run in the 60-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the 400-meter. In the 60-meter, Eisenhauer earned a time of 7.70, a 24.78 in the 200-meter, and a 55.74 in the 400-meter.
Wyatt Emmons started off the longer distances with a personal best time of 2:03.19 in the 800-meter run, while Reece Welch also hit a personal best time with a time of 2:12.65.
Chad Kocsis took part in the 3,000-meter run and finished with a time of 10:19.31, which is a personal best.
Cameron Stermer closed out the running events for RCU, running a personal best time in the 5,000-meter with a time of 15:32.12.

The team will now head to the west side of the state to compete at the Mike Lints Alumni Meet at Grand Valley State on Saturday, February 7.
