Men's Track and Field competes at the Tiffin Jeremy Croy Classic

(Tiffin, OH) - The Rochester Christian men's track and field team headed down to Tiffin, Ohio for the Jeremy Croy Classic at Tiffin University on Saturday. The event saw nine RCU student-athletes finish within the top-10 with two personal bests at the event. 

TRACK PERFORMANCES
The track performances saw RCU take place in races that ranged from the 60-Meter dash to the 3,000-meter run. 

Ethan Dinanath started the Warriors off in the 60-Meter dash, making it through the prelims with a time of 7.27 seconds and finishing in eighth-place with a time of 7.84 seconds in the finals.

Ethan Eisenhauer ran in the 200-Meter dash and ended with a time of 25.34 seconds. 

Dinanath and Eisenhauer would both run in the 400-Meter dash, placing second and seventh, respectively. Dinanath ran a time of 52.61, while Eisenhauer had a time of 57.04. 

Reece Welch and Wyatt Emmons both took part in the 800-Meter run, both running a personal best, with Welch placing in the top-10. Welch earned a time of 2:15.09, while Emmons totaled a time of 2:18.11.

Eli Hullinger ran a time of 4:44.16 in the Mile race.

Cameron Stermer and Chad Kocsis both ran in the 3,000-Meter race. Stermer would earn a first-place finish with a time of 9:13.86, while Kocsis earned a third-place finish after running a time of 10:56.74.

FIELD PERFORMANCES
The Warriors took part in three different field events, including the High Jump, Shot Put, and Weight Throw. 

Hayden Josef and Julian Holt placed second and third, respectively in the high jump, with Josef hitting the 1.99 meter mark, while Holt hit 1.94 meters. 

In the shot put, Michael Reed, Jaylon Moore, Nathan Brewer, and Thomas Spires would hit marks of 11. 57 meters, 9.82 meters, 9.38 meters, and 6.61 meters, respectively. 

The final weight throw event saw Nathan Brewer throw a 11.86 meters, Michael Reed hit 11.28 meters, and Jaylon Moore throw 10.35 meters.

The team will be back on Friday January 30-31 when they head to the Jet's Pizza Invitational at Saginaw Valley State University.
