(Notre Dame, IN) - The Rochester Christian men's soccer team traveled to Indiana for a matchup against the Saints from Holy Cross. The Warriors used a goal midway through the second half to propel them to their first win of the season. The Warriors move to 1-4-0 on the season, while the Saints fall to 2-3-0.
Holy Cross controlled the majority of the action throughout the first half as they outshot RCU, 12-5, in the first 45.
Shadrack Onyango recorded the Warriors' sole goal of the game in the 65th minute after receiving a pass from Milos Stojakovic. Holy Cross was unable to score on its remaining possessions, with the RCU defensive back line holding strong.
Kris Tauzik (1-4-0) earned his first win of the season with a complete game shutout, making five saves throughout the game.
