Men's Soccer bested by #RV Grace on Saturday

(Winona Lake, IN) - The Rochester Christian Men's Soccer team traveled down to Indiana for their next game of their four-game road trip, with a matchup against #RV Grace. The Lancers used a goal in each half in order to walk away with a 2-0 victory. The Warriors are now 0-4-0 on the season, while Grace moves to 2-1-2. 

Kris Tauzik (0-4-0) and Uros Pavlovic combined for the 90 minutes in goal, as Tauzik played the opening 45, making two saves on three shots. Pavlovic finished out the final 45 minutes, making 11 saves on 12 shots. 

Both teams traded possessions throughout the first half, but the Lancer offense was able to push a goal through in the 35th minute shortly following a corner kick. 

Grace's offense was able to keep up the pressure as they made Pavlovic make six saves within the first 12 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, the Lancers were able to give themselves an insurance goal, hitting the back of the net off a rebound.

The Warriors will have nearly a week off before traveling to Notre Dame, Indiana, for a matchup against Holy Cross on September 13 with a noon kickoff.
