WARRIORS FALL SHORT IN SECOND HALF AGAINST CONCORDIA 3-1
A slow second half prevented the Warriors (1-9-2, 1-6-1) from securing a win on the road against the Concordia Cardinals (4-8-2, 2-4-2), falling 3-1 on Oct. 12. Following a first-half goal from senior Dmitar Stankovic, a high number of shots from the hosts overran the Warriors.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - A slow second half prevented the Warriors (1-9-2, 1-6-1) from securing a win on the road against the Concordia Cardinals (4-8-2, 2-4-2), falling 3-1 on Oct. 12. Following a first-half goal from senior Dmitar Stankovic, a high number of shots from the hosts overran the Warriors.
THE RUNDOWN
FIRST HALF
- The Warriors found themselves down early, as the Cardinals scored in the first 45 seconds of the match. Garrett Doud nearly got a goal to go two minutes later to knot things up, but the shot was saved by Cardinal goalie Dario Cela. The Cardinals continued to attack the Warriors with high-paced offense, but the Warriors maintained their reach thanks to a few saves from Warrior keeper Kris Tauzik. Stankovic scored his goal off a transition opportunity thanks to a Tauzik save
SECOND HALF
- The second half was slow for both teams, with only one shot on goal from either team in the first 17 minutes that Tauzik saved. The Cardinals took the lead in the 68th minute, before scoring again ten minutes later to put the game out of the Warriors' reach.
