Men's Golf places third at the Lourdes Fall Invitational

(Ottawa Lake, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's golf team continued its season last week, taking part in the Lourdes Fall Invitational at the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. The Warriors had a strong showing at the tournament, placing 3rd out of the 22 teams with a total score of 306.  

RCU SCORES

Max Teschendorf recorded the team's lowest score on the day with a 73, which was tied for second place with multiple other players at the tournament. Tomas Beltran was next up for the Warriors with a score of 75. Jamie Sanchez was the third golfer, recording a 78. 

Daniel Runkel and Alex Steele rounded out the golfers for Rochester Christian with scores of 80 and 83, respectively. 

TOURNAMENT PERFORMANCES

Landon Wanless from Cornerstone took home the top individual spot with a score of 72.

The team title would go to Northwestern Ohio with a team score of 300, with Cornerstone (302) and Rochester Christian narrowly behind.

The Warriors travel to Howell, Michigan, for the Cleary Invitational on Friday, September 19, at the Chumung Hills Golf Club.
