Runkel takes home top spot at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament, team places 4th

The Lou Collins Memorial Tournament is on Friday and Saturday.
The two-day event featured all teams golfing two rounds over the last two days. As a team, the Warriors finished in fourth place after a pair of rounds, shooting 319-309 for a total score of 628.
RCU SCORES
Daniel Runkel started the season off on the right foot after taking home first place with a total score of 150 after scoring a pair of 75's. Next up was Max Teschendorf, who also finished in the top-10 for the tournament with a total score of 157 after rounds of 78-79. Jamie Sanchez was one shot behind Teschendorf with a 158. Sanchez improved upon his first day score of 83 by shooting a 75 on day two.
Ales Steele and Tyler Edwards were the final two golfers for RCU with scores of 163 and 185, respectively. Steele had rounds of 83-80, while Edwards scored a 97-88.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Kalamazoo took home the top team spot with three players in the top-10 of the individual standings. The Hornets team score was a 621, with Albion right behind them with a 624.
