RU MEN'S GOLF SIGNS DOMINIC GAPPY

ROCHESTER, MI -- The Rochester University men's golf program is pleased to announce the signing of Dominic Gappy. Gappy comes to RU following a few years in the workforce. The Sterling Heights native graduated from Stevenson High School where his senior year, he shot 76 at the district tournament, finishing fourth overall, and leading Stevenson to their first regional tournament in six years. His senior season, he was also named the team MVP.

Dominic is the son of Nick and Lisa Gappy. He has two sisters: Selena and Gabriella. He plans on studying Sports Management during his time here at RU.

Coach Quin Rice had this to say about the signing of Dominic: "We are very excited that Dom wants to come back to school and compete on our golf team. He's a good local player who has kept up his game since graduating high school and I think he can only improve with the time and resources that he will have access to in our program. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the impact Dom will have on our team and program."
