Jacob Gernaat wins WHAC Golfer of the Week

ROCHESTER, Mich --

Sophomore Jacob Gernaat has been named WHAC Conference Golfer of the Week for the week of April 15-21, announced by the league office on Monday the 22^nd. Gernaat with a phenomenal outing on 4/17 at The Gray Wolf Invitational hosted by Lourdes University. There was nine teams and fifty people competing at The Gray Wolf Invitational and Gernaat finished runner-up with a score of 76 (+4). Gernaat becomes Rochester first Golfer of the Week winner in school history.

Coach Williams on Jacob's Golfer of the Week award, "Jaocb's game has been trending for a while now, he was due for a good week. It's only a matter of time before he really breaks out and wins a tournament. I'm fully behind Jacob as he makes these positive strides."
